Lecture: Climate Change: The Northeast Climate Impacts Assessment Ned Raynolds, Northeast Climate Policy Coordinator for the Union of Concerned Scientists
As the Northeast Climate Policy Coordinator for UCS, Mr. Reynolds’ job has been to ensure that both the ten states in the Northeast adopt and implement the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) and the solutions to global warming being demonstrated throughout the Northeast are effectively leveraged in the national policy debate. Mr. Reynolds will describe the collaborative effort between the Union of Concerned Scientists and a team of over 50 independent experts from across the country that used state-of-the-art tools to assess how global warming could affect the northeastern United States.
